Yes the guys at the Daily Express are at it again today on our failings in the transfer market. I would hardly say they are failings. Woodgate and Shearer turn us down? So what? LOL? Let Spurs have the biggest pairing of sicknotes in the country with Kind and Woody. I wish him the best but things wont change. He brings baggage as well. There will be players out there but we might have to wait until the summer unfortunately. I too would rather bring in Wes Brown. Plus was Shearer actually offered anything no? Isnt he speaking to KK today about a lower position.... yes? Express are full of shit.

The press really worry me. They're like a pack of hounds, one sniff of blood and they won't leave you alone. I genuinely believe they like to pick and pick at things until they put enough pressure on a team/celebrity/player/politician until they crack, thereby giving them a nice big juicy story...

i see the news of the world have started a new press campaign to undermine our manager. all this drivel about keegans team talk. they really do write some absolute horse shite. it's almost funny how much effort they put in to putting our club down. they really are scared shitless that we might actually get good. on woodgate i wasnt sure but when i heard keegan say we had missed him i realised then that i wasnt disappointed in the slightest. he's just too much of a risk - id rather try and get wes brown or someone like that.

Yes quite a number of long passes went astray against Arsenal. Whenever the ball went a long distance or off the ground Arsenal won it back everytime. When we keeped it on the deck we did a lot better. You right definitely a quality midfielder is required. My issue is if we don't sign anyone... other clubs fans and press will have a field day. Already jumping on the bandwagon about possibly Woodgate turning us down. Hearing strange mutterings on this one. Hes coming hes not... who knows at present. I know a few people who think Woodgate would be a backwards step.

his agent is willy mackay. enough said. there are better options out there and we dont really need a right back at the mo. It seems woodgate will be arriving any day and although he is a risk id be happier with him here than chimbonda. what we really need is a playmaker to keep the team ticking over, get the odd goal and play in our other attacking players. not sure we will get one this window but for me carrick in the summer would be just the job. his passing is sublime and that is what we are desparately lacking in the middle.

I'm suspicious of Chimbonda, he's come across as a bit mercenary on a couple of occasions and has a big gob... Besides, I like Beye and as much as I like to see strong competition it seems silly to know that we'll have one very good player frustrated on the bench whilst we have other areas with bigger weaknesses...
