Comments From Allardyce
Former Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce spoke to press today commenting on his dismissal.
Allardyce said : “I’m going to take a break with my wife, come back and move on with my football career,” the 53-year-old former Bolton boss said.”
“There is no bitterness towards those in charge at the club.”
“There is no point being bitter and twisted. It is disappointing, though. I don’t know why they’ve done it now.”
“For me, it’s disappointing and you have to move on with your life.”
Sam was then asked to comment why things had changed after Mort had appeared to back him only a few days ago : “I don’t know, to be honest with you. You can only ask Chris that and he can only answer that question, not me.”
“For me, it is the future now. I will take a break with my wife and go away, have a little bit of a re-charge of the batteries, come back and then move on with my football career.”
“Me and my wife will get away in the sunshine, have a little bit of a break and then come back and re-focus and obviously stay in football.”"When that will come? Who knows? We will just have to wait and see.”
“I am not speculating on who is going to be taking over my position at Newcastle. Now a decision has been made and I have got to move on with my life.”
Im sure his wife and bank manager will be smiling today. Hes sure to have gotten a decent send off – hence no hard feelings eh? All inline with how football is driven these days.

I do wish him all the best though with whatever club he goes on to. Just wasnt Ashleys man and his face/tactics never fit in with us.

Its not like he’s been kicked out and gonna be penniless. He can always fall back on the backhanders and stuff from his transfer deals :p

Thats part of my worry about Harry but as I say I probably have less reservations about Harry that I did with Sam. I remember his press conference live and I said to a few around me that I was worried about the style he would bring in.
