Apparently some guy called Jose Antonio Camacho, the Benfica boss... Never heard of him I must admit. Admittedly the reports are described as "outlandish", but who knows? Part of me has given up second-guessing, I'm just glad that they're looking far and wide for the next manager, so at least we know when they decide upon one they've not left any stone unturned. I must admit though that I really hope there's a role for Shearer. I honestly think he could become a great manager for us one day and if anyone can motivate the team at half time when we're losing a big game, it'd be him.
