I think our policy is clear. Young, hungry and promising without the huge ridiculous wages. My only worry is we miss out on our targets. I'm happy to be patient as I think the signings will come, but I reckon we'll see a number of stars of Euro 2008 signing to English clubs so we're going to need to bring in some very goos players just to stay at the level we are currently, let alone improve... Youth works well in a performing team but a one that is struggling nope. Too much pressure is put on them then. Either way I'd agree that, playing at the standard he is currently I'd want someone else to come in to take his place, with Milner on the bench (and trying to improve his game). Hence I'd happily see him stay as a promising squad member who has a great work ethic, but if we could sell him and replace him with the finished (but young) article, then it'll obviously improve the team. I am full of praise for his work ethic but I don't think he's got that international quality in him. If he had I honestly believe he'd have been called up by now. I think that says alot. He doesnt have bundles of goals in him, he doesn't have a great final ball whilst trying to beat players too many times and he doesn't have a consistantly good cross in him. I honestly think if that offer comes in then KK will let him go and bring in another replacement...
