I wouldn't think entirely that Simo. Its suggested they would approach Shearer not that hes on board. Kinnear has made a nice big gaff again... Apparently alot of the identities of the consortiums (heard of 3) are wanting to approach Keegan before making public their bids which is fair enough and the right thing to do. As ive said all along I still believe it will go to Dubai or most likely Ambani (whom id prefer). The weekend match was another farce. First half was disgusting. Second was better but it was dependent on Geremi lashing home a shot rather than try to take it down which was the balance of the game. Michael Owen was fantastic again. The poor guy deserves a better team. Hes 'world class' and instead around him he has a bunch of muppets. Fair play to Owen, Zog and Bassong who looked the only players sort of in the game. Second half we got more out of Duff but he has to be doing it for a full 90 minutes. The first half he was one of the many passengers and Geremi??? Omg sort yourself out.

Why would Keegan come once the Nigerians have bought the club? They'll be clueless about football and won't be able to offer any transfer funds. At least under Ashley, before the Keegan issue blew up, we were finally a tight ship financially. Under this lot, Keegan probably won't return (it sounds like they promised Shearer too and he's made it clear that that's rubbish) and if he does, he'll leave once he's had no money to spend again.

Then who'll jump at the chance to manage us? John Gregory? Ian Holloway? Dave Bassett? Honestly, I genuinely fear the worse. I seriously would rather keep Ashley, with all that entails...

Pathetic first half. Second half did prove why we would have taken three points with KK still here.
