Steven Taylor has officially signed a new 3 year contract with Newcastle United after haggling for some time and Mike Ashley eventually intervening and sorting out the deal.

Its believe to be around £35,000 a week for the 22 year old after previously questioning why so many others around him were on alot more than him.

Its seen as a good reward for a lad who has come up through the ranks. Lets just hope he now starts to improve his game on the pitch and settles down.
