What A Shame: Keano Leaves The Unclean
Its unconfirmed as yet but it is understood that Roy Keane has left Sunderland. SHAME!
I always thought Roy Keane was a good young manager and quite frankly has worked wonders at Sunderland. Its been a bit of a wobble of late but the first major amount of pressure and hes walked. Clearly he wasn’t as keen on the mackems as many thought.
Having not won since the derby (unfortunate) his stock with his fans has plummeted. Its likely that Keane has walked rather than pushed however. This certainly makes things a little bit better for us Toon fans atm. All we need is Ashley out and a good owner in…

Making the same mistakes as us.

Mistakes we are making are letting JK make decisions with little time to think. The substitution at half time against stoke was shocking. To eventually have 4 players playing out of position and upset a backline which hadnt leaked a goal for 225mins+ is rubbish. Beye didnt know what Taylor was doing behind him never mind attack forward. Unbelievable that decision I just hope it doesnt cost us come end of season.

“All we need is Ashley out and a good owner in…” Indeed. The more I read about MA (not in the papers) the more I think he is not at all the sort of guy we assumed he was.
His HBOS loss was nothing short of lunacy.

Sports Direct have a 22% holding in JJB which is in trouble.

I don’t think hes in trouble as such. His value is less but to him it probably represents opportunity and he’ll be after aquiring things at knock down prices to a make a mint in 5-10 years when everything is back up. I really decided I don’t like him when he hides behind not doing any statements etc.

No I agree I don’t think he is in trouble but it’s not just that his holdings are down. He was spread betting with massive exposure, that is seriously not the sort of person I thought he was when he bought the club. I didn’t think he was a bit of a loose cannon. Appointing Mort was probably the only sensible thing he’s done including buying the club in the first place (He didn’t seem to realise how much it was gonna cost?) . The Keegan appointment while fun for us at the time was clearly not thought out enough either. For christmas, a shiny new owner please Santa Dude. *(:o)<

Can’t see Owen staying with us. I’d love him to but wonder if Heskey would come in if Owen out. I know who I would prefer but realistically maybe an option all things considered. Could be a powerful partner for Martins.

TBH ideally we’d do well to sign Owen up and bring Heskey in. Can’t see it happening but if we can string a few wins together on the back of a good team win against Pompey Owen might stay if offered decent terms. I know hes played only 50+ games but hes scored about 28-30 goals… Thats an awesome ratio and he kept us up last season. I think the boy done good sums it up and quite simply hes world class. I would much rather have him in our squad then letting him go elsewhere. We really do have a knacker who owns the club though
BTW you have to take ur hat off to Wise for bringing in Jonas, Coloccini and Bassong.

Those signings are excellent i agree. Even though we are pretty used to seeing players like Jonas, the other two are something rarely seen in B&W lol

There are some strong rumours going about about Matthew Upson as well. Id certainly take him as I think he is maturing into one hell of a player. If we could have gotten Upson, Elano and Riise I certainly would have been happy. I also think a play for Benayoun if he really wants away from Liverpool. Hes a good player.
