Id certainly take him as I think he is maturing into one hell of a player. If we could have gotten Upson, Elano and Riise I certainly would have been happy. Can't see it happening but if we can string a few wins together on the back of a good team win against Pompey Owen might stay if offered decent terms. I know hes played only 50+ games but hes scored about 28-30 goals... Thats an awesome ratio and he kept us up last season. I think the boy done good sums it up and quite simply hes world class. I would much rather have him in our squad then letting him go elsewhere. We really do have a knacker who owns the club though :( BTW you have to take ur hat off to Wise for bringing in Jonas, Coloccini and Bassong. He was spread betting with massive exposure, that is seriously not the sort of person I thought he was when he bought the club. I didn't think he was a bit of a loose cannon. Appointing Mort was probably the only sensible thing he's done including buying the club in the first place (He didn't seem to realise how much it was gonna cost?) . The Keegan appointment while fun for us at the time was clearly not thought out enough either. The substitution at half time against stoke was shocking. To eventually have 4 players playing out of position and upset a backline which hadnt leaked a goal for 225mins+ is rubbish. Beye didnt know what Taylor was doing behind him never mind attack forward. Unbelievable that decision I just hope it doesnt cost us come end of season.
