WTF does that solve?
Well well put two and two together and you get Wise pissing in the cake mix again for this temporary management position.
We really have fallen from grace even though this is temporary. Joe (pardon my language) fucking Kinnear. Hasn’t been around for about 5 years so quite WTF the cockney mafia think he will do is beyond me. Might as well have gotten Terry Mac doing the job but hey ho they pee’d him off as well.
So yet another clueless piece of PR that will only make no one turn up for a game. I honestly don’t feel like bothering tomorrow I really don’t.
Ashley here’s a tip… listen to fans. They know more than Wise. You could have gotten more from the sale of your club by:
a). Sacking your cockney mafia buds (but that would be going back on your word with your mates… oh dear)
b). Saying you were wrong and still wish to sell the club
c). Reinstall Keegan as the manger
Your status would go up again amongst fans while you can negotiate your sale and results on the pitch would pick up.
What do you do though? Listen to a bunch of Muppet’s who ain’t got a clue. Stick to selling cheap sports clothes in future please after you sell the club.
VENT of anger over.

lol Just read this myself. This is panto, I’m sure someone is gonna shout “BEHIND YOU!” at any moment. Someone somewhere of importance must surely look at this and think this is negligence. Really, you can’t just go around doing this to football clubs.. can you? I guess you can. What’s next? Vinnie Jones for club ambassador? Sack Shay Given? Give all our defenders the rest of the month off? Crazy crazy crazy. Although Venables would have been okay till the sale.

I honestly think Venables would have been a better bet and I thought we couldnt get any lower. At least its not O’Leary!!!! omg!

Hi, we are a consortium hoping to take over Newcastle United. We are back by 3 business man from the Caribbean region, 2 of which of billionaires.
Here is our website, http://www.savenewcastle.co.uk/ All is not lost if this deal goes through for us.

Sorry lads, but he can’t reinstall Keegan until the club has been sold. Why on earth would any manager join a club knowing there’ll be new owners in a few weeks? They’ll want their own man, which may or may not be Keegan. KK would know this and would be a fool to join, only to potentially be brushed aside again a few weeks later. It simply isn’t an option.
Besides, once we’ve brought in these Nigerians we’ll really know what trouble feels like. They’ve got no money to spend (they’re a big consortium of businessmen who’ve scraped the money together), have no contacts in the league and know nothing about football. Even Ashley can offer more money, contacts and knowledge than them.
Ashley made one giant cock-up by installing Wise, but I don’t think that there was malice towards Keegan in that. I also don’t think he made it clear to Keegan how tightly the budget would be run in the first couple of years until our youth policy started to produce players and our debts were fully paid off. And like anyone else, I hate this continental management system.
However the fans are forcing Ashley out, as is our choice, so there’s little he can do other than bring in any temporary manager that’ll take the job and sell the club asap as it’s a lame duck until then. But I genuinely think that things under these Nigerians will be a lot, lot worse than under Ashley. I honestly think that once he’s gone, it’ll be the beginning of our nightmare, not the end.

I honestly believe that the Nigerian consortium is a way of flushing out other buyers which I believe it has done. I honestly don’t expect them anywhere near St. James Park.

I must admit I agree with you on that one Toon. Empty vessels make the most noise, and they sure are noisey.

Slimo has a huge point but we might be in a catch 22 now. The worse we plummet in terms of results, the lower our value in terms of on the bargain table. Hasn’t Ashley made it clear he still wants to make a profit from the sale – if that’s the case, hopefully Kinnear can raise the lads and string together some results – might be able to rush the sale somewhat (more in hope though).
