Yawn
Well no sooner has the transfer window shut, we scored our first goal under KK and started to show some signs of improving - the press have decided to move onto other s**t stories - but still NUFC.
Their last tripe is coming in the form of lets wind the Geordies up about Charles N’Zogbia desperate to move to London with Spurs or the Gunners and Michael Owen getting dropped by Capello.
We really don’t care about your rubbish? Get something original. Why would Newcastle let him go? Hes just signed a new contract AND we are months away from the transfer window even opening.
Oh and how do you know Capello’s mind? Let alone a journalist understand Italian… Has Capello already got weakness in the form of someone who leaks everything? Nice start then. Actually this might not be the worst thing as it would mean he will likely stay fit more for US! Don’t get me wrong though I think he has done well for the Toon of late.
We can clearly see the media are struggling for stories at the moment… Just moan about someone else please we don’t care.

Totally agree. Starting to become very picky about which papers I buy now. The Teamtalk board is getting silly - I’d bet nearly anything that that Given_Butt character was made up (along with that stupid story about a teacher, although JM is too scared to air my views on it), as is BigSam. Why does everyone have it in for us at the moment?
Either way I’m now past caring. I’m just more motivated than ever to support the team and watch us ram any future success down their throats…
As for N’Zogbia I wouldn’t be suprised if he did leave. I can imagine him wanting to live in London, a friend who has met him a few times say he’s a slightly odd lad, bit of a Big Time Charlie and is a bit full of himself. Either way he’s on a very, very long contract so if we sell him I’d like to see us force buying clubs to go WAY over the odds for once…

I think the current outfit would make sure things like that are dealt with. I think any business from now on has to be in the best interests of us and not a player. Zogbia is tied up and they are quite within their rights to tell any other club to go jump. Zogbia just wants to be playing in a successful team so lets give him one. Hes had plenty of managerial changes and it will be a bit demoralising.
